For my client, a software company in Apeldoorn, I'm currently seeking for a Javascript developer to join their team of Front-end develoeprs. The company helps other organizations with their IT-challenges and is currently growing rapidly. They are even expanding their business outside of The Netherlands which means that extra testing capacity is necessary.

Currently the team consists of 150 ambitious people who work together in a modern and spacious office. The company has a informal culture with plenty of room for fun and personal growth. At the moment, many members of the development team work from home and also in the future there will be enough flexibility to work partially remote.

This job requires you to live in The Netherlands and to have previous experience working for a Dutch company.

Job description:

As a Front-end developer you will become part of a team existing of 6 medior/senior developers (both front-end as back-end), 1 UI/UX-designer, 1 software test engineer and 1 test automation engineer. Besides them, there are currently three young professionals taking part of an inhouse traineeship which will help them in their journey of becoming a Front-end developer as well. This emphasizes the importance of front-end development, personal growth and development within the company. As a team you will be working on the further expansion of their personally developed (Cloud-)platform; a complex system built up by a Javascript front-end and a .NET core with SQL back-end.

Within sprints of two weeks, you will be developing and integrating new components. Mainly you will be using Typescript and React. Besides these two techniques, they are working with Material UI, Redux and Jest. Previous experience with any of these techniques is considered a plus, not a demand. It is also considered an advantage if you have any experience with unit testing.

In this job it is important that you have the ability and knowledge to work independently, to think out-of-the-box and to help your (younger) teammates if necessary. Requirements:

• You have a Bachelor / Master (preferably in the field of IT)
• You have at least 2 years experience as a front-end developer
• You have experience working in an Agile team
• Preferably you have experience with the React or Typescript framework
• You currently live in the Netherlands
• You already have experience working in The Netherlands
